DMTF to Exhibit at OCP 2020

Continuing its commitment to industry outreach and education, DMTF will participate in the Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, March 4-5, as an exhibitor. Executives and representatives will be available in exhibit #C51 at the San Jose Convention Center to speak with attendees and answer questions about DMTF standards.

New Redfish Release 2019.4 Adds Support for Gen-Z Fabrics and Power Distribution Equipment

DMTF’s Redfish®, Release 2019.4, is now available for public download. Designed to deliver simple and secure management for hybrid IT and the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), the latest release of the Redfish standard includes 15 new schemas, 23 schema updates, and additional developer resources.

DMTF Releases the Initial Version of PLDM for Redfish Device Enablement and Related Specifications

DMTF has released the initial version of its Platform Level Data Model (PLDM) for Redfish Device Enablement Specification (RDE) specification. The RDE specification describes the operation and format of request messages (also referred to as commands) and response messages, designed to be delivered using PLDM messaging.

DMTF to present Redfish at OFIWG Meeting

Jeff Hilland, DMTF president, will present the latest Redfish® developments at an upcoming Open Fabrics Alliance Working Group meeting. The core mission of the Open Fabrics Alliance (OFA) is to accelerate the development and adoption of advanced fabrics. Recognizing that fabric management is a core element of any fabric architecture, the two groups will also explore the possibility of future engagement focused on fabric management.
