DMTF’s Redfish Forum to Host Live Webinar on the Redfish 2023.3 Release
DMTF’s Redfish Forum would like to invite anyone interested in learning about the Redfish 2023.3 release to join a live webinar, hosted on Zoom, on Thursday, February 8th at 9:00 a.m. PT.
The Forum chairs will present the contents of the release. A Round Table discussion will be held immediately following the webinar.
Redfish Release 2023.3 Now Available!
DMTF’s Redfish® Release 2023.3 is now available for public download. Designed to deliver simple and secure management for hybrid IT and the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), the latest release of the Redfish standard includes 1 new schema and 26 schema updates including a NEW ResolutionStep for providing a recommended step to resolve a condition (fault, error, etc.).
Are you aware of DMTF’s Security Response Task Force?
Did you know that DMTF has a Security Response Task Force (SRTF) within the organization’s Technical Committee (TC)? The Task Force, under the direction of the TC, is responsible for the coordination and management of reported security issues or vulnerabilities related to DMTF standards or DMTF open-source sample implementations.

DMTF recently announced the public availability of its PLDM CXL Memory Modeling White Paper (DSP2067) Work in Progress (WIP). It is available for download here.
MCTP over USB Binding Specification Now Available
The public release of the MCTP over USB Binding Specification (DSP0283) is now available for download. This specification defines a transport binding for facilitating MCTP communication between platform management system components (i.e. management controllers, management devices) over USB 2.0.
It’s Not Too Early to Think About DMTF Membership!
As DMTF’s new fiscal year approaches, our membership renewal period is right around the corner - please take steps today to ensure your organization is prepared to renew! Your company’s billing contact will receive the invoice in early January so be sure to give them the heads up! The upcoming membership year runs April 1 to March 31.
SPDM Releases New Updates to its Specifications
DMTF announces errata updates to its specifications. These specifications – developed by DMTF’s Security Protocols and Data Models Working Group – continues to incorporate the input of the organization’s Alliance Partners to help align component authentication, confidentiality, and integrity objects across the industry.
Watch DMTF Presentations from the OCP Global Summit
DMTF recently participated in the Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, October 17-19, which hosted more than 4,000 attendees interested in the open hardware ecosystem. DMTF experts met developers and executives at the booth, all interested in learning more about Redfish® and DMTF’s other standards.
