DMTF Releases CIM 2.48

The DMTF’s Common Information Model (CIM) standard is widely used to provide a common definition of management information for systems, networks, applications and services. The latest update, version 2.48, is now available and continues the DMTF’s commitment to releasing a new version of the CIM Schema every four months.

Supplying a set of classes with properties and associations that provide a well-understood conceptual framework, the CIM Schema organizes information about the managed environment. CIM 2.48 is the fourth update in 2016, a fast-paced release schedule that ensures the standard remains up-to-date and addresses the latest industry needs.
