Dell Joins DMTF Board of Directors

PORTLAND, Ore. – May 28, 2014DMTF, the organization bringing the IT industry together to collaborate on the development, validation and promotion of infrastructure management standards, today announced that Dell joins the DMTF Board of Directors.

As a member of the DMTF, Dell has been an active leader in the organization since DMTF’s inception in 1992.  Dell’s long-term and ongoing commitment to manageability standards will be beneficial to the DMTF as it continues its work to enable interoperable, industry-wide IT management across a diverse set of platforms.

Continuing the diversity of perspectives on DMTF’s Board, Dell joins 15 other technology companies from around the globe, including: Broadcom Corporation; CA Technologies; Cisco; Citrix Systems, Inc.; Fujitsu; Hitachi, Ltd.; HP; Intel Corporation; Microsoft Corporation; NetApp; Oracle; SoftwareAG; SunGard Availability Services; Telecom Italia and VMware, Inc.
