DMTF’s Platform Management Components Intercommunication (PMCI) Security Task Force has published a Work In Progress architecture presentation for two new upcoming specifications.

Watch DMTF Presentations from the OCP Global Summit

DMTF recently participated in the Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, March 14-15, which hosted more than 3,400 attendees interested in the open hardware ecosystem. DMTF experts met hundreds of developers and executives at the booth, all interested in learning more about Redfish® and DMTF’s other standards.

For those who were unable to attend the conference, DMTF’s presentations are now available for viewing on YouTube:

Learn How Redfish, PMCI, and SMBIOS Enable Interoperable Management

DMTF’s newest positioning paper – “End-to-End Interoperable Management: The Standards Requirement for Modern IT” – is now available. Detailing the organization’s uniquely holistic approach to the development of Redfish®, SMBIOS, and the suite of standards from DMTF's PMCI Working Group, this paper describes how these standards provide a powerful combination for interoperability – purpose-built for today’s complex IT environments.

DMTF Releases Update to PLDM for Redfish Device Enablement Specification

DMTF has released a new version of its Platform Level Data Model (PLDM) for Redfish® Device Enablement Specification (RDE) as a Work In Progress. This standard enables a management controller to present Redfish-conformant management of I/O adapters in a server, without the need for code specific to each adapter family/vendor/model.
