DMTF announces the public release of its Security Protocol and Data Model (SPDM) Specification 1.0, as well as the SPDM over MCTP Binding Specification 1.0, as DMTF standards.

DMTF Releases the Initial Version of PLDM for Redfish Device Enablement and Related Specifications

DMTF has released the initial version of its Platform Level Data Model (PLDM) for Redfish® Device Enablement Specification (RDE) specification. The RDE specification describes the operation and format of request messages (also referred to as commands) and response messages, designed to be delivered using PLDM messaging.

DMTF and MIPI Alliance to Collaborate on Security

DMTF and MIPI Alliance have agreed to collaborate on DMTF’s Security Protocol and Data Model (SPDM) standards. MIPI will evaluate and provide feedback on SPDM standards and use cases applicable to devices, which potentially could support MIPI security specifications.
