On December 5, 2014, China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute (CESI), Electronic Intellectual Property Center of MIIT, Guangdong Software Industry Association (GDSIA) and Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company hosted the 4^th Annual China Cloud Computing Conference on Standards and Application and the 3^rd Annual Hong Kong-Guangdong Cloud Computing Conference.

Doctor Tian Zhong, DMTF China Chapter Technical Committee Chair, spoke about the DMTF and its accomplishments as well as membership opportunities. He spoke in great detail on the Cloud Infrastructure Management Interface (CIMI) and the application and scalability of the Common Information Model (CIM) and CIM to CIMI.
