CDM System Health Management Initiative Launch Event
Event Information
The DMTF's Common Diagnostic Model (CDM) Forum launched its new CDM System Health Management Initiative at an exclusive, invitation-only event held September 25, 2006, at the San Francisco Hilton.
The DMTF, in conjunction with the CDM Forum leadership companies: AMD, Dell, HP, IBM, and Symantec, hosted this event to kick off an industry wide effort to unify the computer industry on a single interoperable, secure, and functionally rich interface for diagnostics.
This initiative will:
- Unify the industry on a single interoperable, secure and functionally rich interface
- Rally industry resources and funds to promote and accelerate adoption of CDM
- Enable the construction of autonomic, multi-vendor health management solutions
- Streamline integration practices in the computer industry
- Bring IT Consumers more agile, available, and manageable computing platforms
