DMTF President to Host Forum at China Cloud Computing Conference (CCCC)

Jeff Hilland, DMTF president, has been invited to chair and speak at the International Cloud Computing Standardization Forum as part of the China Cloud Computing Conference (CCCC) May 20-23 in Beijing.

The Forum, hosted by the DMTF China Chapter, aims to introduce global cloud computing standardization achievements and future trends to the Chinese IT industry and its customers.

Also representing the DMTF will be Vice President of Regional Chapters Yinghua Qin of Dell, Forum Vice-Chair and China Chapter Chair Zhou Ping of the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI), and China Chapter Vice-Chair Gao Wei of the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA).

DMTF China Chapter board members – CESI, China Academy of Telecommunication Research, Huawei, IBM, Oracle, VMware, ZTE, Fujitsu, Dell, Microsoft, Inspur, Lenovo and HP – will also participate in the Forum.

The DMTF wishes to recognize the efforts of all DMTF China Chapter board members for their contributions to the event, with special thanks to the Director of Standard Strategy of Oracle China Wei Ding, for his leadership in organizing the Forum.

The International Cloud Computing Standardization Forum expects to attract hundreds attendees. The CCCC event brought in upwards of 30,000 attendees at their 2013 event, and is the biggest cloud conference in China. Speakers from universities, research institutes, government departments and leading technology companies will convene at the event.
